There are obvious inherited gains and improvements to be made by uploading software applications to a remote private system and Windows' Server VPS templates are continuously updated in order to protect both servers and users from intruders and other threats. In terms of physical hardware, great care is taken to prevent critical failures. Hosted servers and core network components are monitored 24/7 for issues and are proactively managed 24/7 in conjunction with technical support teams.
Accessibility
Having your own dedicated server to run your trading applications, helps to ensure the smooth running of your trading. If, for example, you were running your own transactional website from home, you wouldn't host it on your home computer, however fast it may be and however fast your fibre optic broadband connection might be. You'd host it on a dedicated server, on which your customers could order your products as quickly and efficiently as possible, as securely as possible and access your market twenty four hours a day. Your market wouldn't shut down when you turn off your home computer and broadband overnight. It's a similar situation to accessibility when trading; if running automated programmes they have to trade 24-7, the server/s always need to be optimised and dedicated to your one specific service, trading.
Tools and protocols are generally built in to the overall VPS service, such as Remote Desktop access which allows users to easily connect to their dedicated server - VPS from anywhere, with no extra setup, or configuration required. Traders can access trading platforms from different devices: PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, without interrupting the software running on the VPS. Using VPS multiple platforms and multiple accounts can be set up on the same VPS, delegating user access, in order to allow multiple users to view the desktop simultaneously, can alos be administered, from separate locations.
